حملة تنظيف نهر ابو علي تنطلق بالتنسيق والتعاون بين جمعية إمكان و شركة الحسين بتوجهات من رئيس جمعيتي بيروت للتنمية الاجتماعية و امكان السيد احمد هاشمية ، قامت " شركة الحسين للتجارة والمقاولات " لصاحبها السيد حسين صبح " بتنظيف وازالة وتعزيل اكوام الأوساخ والردميات الموجودة في نقاط متعددة على طول مجرى نهر ابو علي وصولاً الى الجهة الشرقية بين ابي سمراء والقبة تأتي هذه المبادرة بناءً على مناشدات الاهالي ، ونظراً الى كثرة الاوساخ في مجرى النهر وبالتالي انتشار البعوض والعواقص والحشرات التي تؤثر سلباً على المباني و السكان المجاورة للنهر
The Abu Ali River cleaning campaign is launched in coordination and cooperation between the Emkan Association and Al Hussein Company
Under the directives of the President of the Beirut Association for Social Development and Mr. Ahmed Hashimiya, “Al-Hussein Trading and Contracting Company” whose owner, Mr. Hussein Sobh, “cleaned, removed and isolated the piles of dirt and debris located at multiple points along the course of the Abu Ali River, reaching the eastern side between Abu Samra and Al-Qubba.”
This initiative comes based on the appeals of the people, and in view of the abundance of dirt in the riverbed and thus the spread of mosquitoes, gnats and insects that negatively affect the buildings and residents adjacent to the river.
